How does Online Translation Helper work?
Let's look at this example. You visited http://www.univ-paris1.fr/universite/historique/article164.html and it turned out that the website is in French, not English. Now you dolorously think that you really should have listened to your French teacher because you really want to understand what the site says.
No problem. Simply press and hold down Ctrl key then click right mouse button to open "ie-helpers" menu. You'll see a list of all installed ie-helpers.



Now move the cursor to the "Translate this page to English" menu item. You'll see another menu appear with a list of languages supported.
Keep in mind that Online Translation Helper itself is not a translator robot. It simply gives you access to multiple free online translation services and forwards your query there. In this case, the site can be translated from French to English with Google.
The translation results are displayed below.

If you need to translate a text that is not a part of a web page (like a text document), select the "Translate sentence or word" option and you'll see a list of free online translators that support short text segments (100-200 words).
